Capri...Sun?

The next morning we took a boat tour around the island of Capri! I was in awe when I found out it was hot enough to wear shorts.

The sun is just a feint memory here in Den Haag.

During our tour we made a pit stop at the Blue Grotto, one of the seven wonders of Europe! See that little hole? That's where the boats go through- seriously?

Kady don't look too excited.

Still confused how we are supposed to fit through there.

Well we made it! Too many stinking jellies to go swimming though.

The Italian boatsmen said it was a bad day for the Blue Grotto (after we paid of course) but it was still really cool! Then we continued our tour around Capri!

A statue that no one knows how it got there.

A naturally formed statue of the Virgin Mary! Pretty cool!

Lots of coral! So pretty.

If you wave back to this statue it means you are coming back to Capri! (Mom and dad heads up- I waved)

Once we got back to Capri we hiked up to the town. Thankfully waiting at the top was the most delicious drink to ever touch my lips. Something along the lines of fresh squeezed orange juice-lemon slushie THING that was amazing.

The man who makes the magic happen.

Then we took a chairlift ride up to the top of the mountain! Definitely one of the coolest things I have done.

Once we got to the top we got off to take in the beautiful view!

Then we went back down!

Once we got to the bottom we had the option of taking a taxi all the way down to the water or hiking down. You can probably guess what we chose.

Best taxi ride I have ever taken hands down. Even though I closed my eyes for about half of it because we narrowly avoided death multiple times.

 Crazy drivers they are.

We had some time to spare before having to head back to our hotels so we hung out by the gorgeous water!

Tanning Kady. Not the most comfortable beach to lay on.

Chelsea putting heaps of sunblock on her many scars.

After getting fairly burnt (sunblock is expensive here okay mom?) we headed home to take a quick nap before heading out to get a few drinks.

Abby and her cider. Always.

My thoughts on Italian men can be summed up pretty quickly:

I'm just tryna dance!
